On The Road Again -- and a contest!

Yes, I'm almost out the door, but before I head on down the road to The Happiest Place on Earth (tm), I wanted to make one last post.

I won't be blogging from vacation, mostly because our hotel has a business center instead of in-room WiFi and I don't know the hours yet, so this will be my last post until Monday July 16. But instead of leaving the blog totally dark until then, I thought I'd pass the responsibility on to you.

Yes, you.

Here's the deal -- stop by once in a while and post a quick message. Have you read a great book recently? Seen a good movie? Have news to share? Post it in the comments so I'm not totally out of the loop when I get back.

Then, on my return, I'll pick one poster at random to win a guaranteed authentic Disney souvenir!

(No, I don't know what it'll be yet. Half the fun is in the shopping, right?)

See you in a week or so -- and good luck!

Hey Kate, hope you're having a fabulous time :)

I'm reading Janice Maynard's "Improper Etiquette" and really enjoying it. I just watched all 4 of the Harry Potter movies this past couple of weeks, getting ready for #5, and I really want to see the new Bruce Willis movie. Exciting life I lead LOL.

I have fond memories with my kids of going to Disneyland. Living here in Arizona, that was always a vacation stop for us. Have fun

Sad news for the romance community - Kathleen Woodiwiss passed away. I've never read her books, but I've heard about her a lot over the last 25 years - what an icon. She will be missed :(

I hope you and your family are having a blast!

I just read Mary Jane Clark's book, "When Day Breaks" and I always enjoy reading her mysteries.

Wish I had time to read a book this week, but with working from home, tech week, and trying to get my crap together for submission (Argh! Synopsis!) I don't have time for more than a quick check of blogs--like this one. :) I will, however, return to reading With Nine You Get Vanyr as soon as life allows. Of course by then the new Harry Potter will be out.

Hope you're having a great time in Disneyland! You're missing the heat wave here, you lucky thing, you. :P

Have fun at Disneyland.
