Finished my edits this week.
Finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows yesterday.
I know there are folks out there who (like me) didn't read it immediately, and don't want to post any spoilers.
So all I'm gonna say is --
Loved it.
Made me cry.
And if you don't already have it stashed on top of your TBR pile, you really should go Buy It Now.

I know, I didn't desperately want to read it immediately...but I also figured I'd better, because I didn't want to get spoiled! And I'm glad I did, because a week later I read a couple of reviews (in the national press) which gave away a few things I'm glad I didn't know beforehand!
Still have to read books 2-6, but you know, I'm gonna savor them, cuz I'm already sad it's over.

I haven't read any Harry Potter books yet, but I'm going to. I bought all of them for my daughter.
Cat/Kate, I was the same way! I decided at the last minute to pick up a copy just so it wouldn't be ruined by a stray spoiler -- I hate knowing too much before reading an anticipated book.
Stacy, enjoy them! I may have to read the series over again, just because I love it so much.
And Diane, you and your daughter are in for a treat. Hope you enjoy!
