Note from the DH - this list does not include any albums by the Beatles because, come on. They'd take the list over completely.

nice list! I'm shocked to see a couple that I hadn't even heard of. OMG, what did I miss? And even more surprised by a couple that didn't make the cut. No Steppenwolf? No Tommy? *gasp*

Let me tell you, that list probably could have been twice as long. :) And more than one was crossed out/changed/switched around.

The one that most people haven't heard of is Black Monk Time by the Monks. He saw a documentary on them last year and became a huge fan. I love it, too. They were a couple years ahead of their time, and never really broke out, but wow. Good stuff.
